Kolstein DiVacenza Hybrid Model #150 Repair Project

This one is only considered a repair project as the majority of the bass is very good. In fact it is not that old. This Czech made hybrid is a current model made by a world class shop for the Renowned Kolstein shop of Long Island NY. -a second generation bass shop who has supplied the best basses to the world over. I've never seen so many great basses in one place

This unfortunate bass started down and escalator but unfortunately did not make it all the way out.

As you can see the top is in need of repair.

In addition the next photo will reveal the true work needed on this bass. -The rib..or what is left of this laminated piece of wood. We are going to replace it with either a new veneer or an entire new rib. Depending on what the different woods look like when they show up.

So keep an eye out for this one. We should have it ready to go very soon and will make a nice bass.
