"As a Bass player, I started to do my own repair work because of my interest in working with instruments and my time was cheaper than someone elses.
In addition, mainly with Basses, I found that some general string repair shops did not have a good understanding of set up, pick-ups, and fingerboards for Bass.
I found that if I did the work on my basses that I got the performance results I needed.
In the past 15 years working through BirdlandMusic.NET, I have done work for other Bassists accross the country, whom all have been very satisfied.
