James D'Aquisto had a natural eye for style and his guitars are both superb instruments and timeless in to look at. The "Solo" is a guitar that is hard to take your eyes of with its "all wood" construction, maple binding and unique headstock design- original is priced at over $100,000 - this re-issue is very accurate and affordable.


Luthier James D'Aquisto was arguably the greatest archtop builder of all and the Solo model is one of the experimental designs representative of his final period. This is a very popular style although the 17 inch body and cutaway is a slight departure from the original design.
