Tired of not finding an affordable double bass pickup that was both user friendly and excellent sounding, friends and double bass luthiers Gary Upton & Eric Roy set out to make a pickup that they would use themselves. After several years of designing, building and prototyping pickups they have came up with what has been called "the perfect double bass pickup".
